Step Twelve performing their song Lost. The concept behind this video was the experience of a family picture we’ve no doubt all been apart of where the photographer insists on adjusting and re-adjusting everyone in the shot, trying in vain to achieve the perfect shot, until finally the family gets fed up and mutinies, deciding to accept a significantly less picturesque photograph to remember the occasion by.

Enjoy,

What Wondrous Love is this - Kenosis

This is the gnarliest praise song I’ve heard. Make sure you check it out (click the link above). Listen for 1:04, when I first heard it I started roaring. Then there’s the massive chorus at the end too…sooo good!

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this
That caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul!
When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down, sinking down,
When I was sinking down
Beneath God’s righteous frown,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul for my soul,
Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.
To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb,
Who is the great I AM,
While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing,
While millions join the theme, I will sing.
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on;
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on.
And when from death I’m free
I’ll sing His love for me,
And through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
And through eternity I’ll sing on.

In the fall my good friends Andre and Sam (check them out @ step-twelve.com) stopped in Winnipeg for a couple days during their Canadian tour. I wanted to do something special for them so I did some brainstorming with them along with my fiance Amy and came up with a kind of concert/filming session concept. We borrowed my uncles mini-van, my parents civic, my sisters friends car, and my jeep and picked up as many people as we could, to come to my house and be improv actors. With the help of Coby Friesen producing, Matt Veith and Tyler Voth filming, and 40 other actors, it turned out to be a great night. Be sure to check it out the footage. Finishing up the final edit now.

Blind Mice - Chamberlain Davey

We were young and blind, blind as mice, but the Lord came down to me and he opened up my eyes…I saw the light. No more darkness, no more night.

Then the Lord came down to you, and He opened your eyes too. You saw the light. No more darkness, no more night.
